CCHI Examinations Start Next Month

Healthcare Interpreters from across the country will participate in the first administration of CCHI’s Associate Healthcare Interpreter (AHI) Examination and CCHI’s Spanish Certified Healthcare Interpreter (CHI) Examination in October and November.
Close to 400 healthcare interpreters providing interpreting services in 35 languages will sit for these exams to become the first CCHI credential healthcare interpreters.Healthcare Interpreters who are eligible to sit for either the CHI or AHI exams will be notified of their exam date and time by the end of September. If you have submitted an application to participate in the pilot examination and have not received notification of your eligibility from CCHI or a notice about scheduling your exam from our test vendor, Castle Worldwide (

info@healthcareinterpretercertification.org. Exam candidates should also be on the lookout for the CCHI Pilot Certification Examination Handbook which will be sent to candidates this week to help you prepare for CCHI’s exams.
The next administration of CCHI examinations will begin in January. CCHI’s examination application will re-open in December at
